Training Partners

All students doing work experience as part of their course are allocated placements in Daybreak’s partnered nursing homes. Daybreak’s quality assurances, approved by FETAC ensure that all documentation is in place for such work experience. Full procedures are explained to the student prior to placement. These placements take place at the end of the Foundation Health Care Assistant Course and any time after the initial orientation weeks for the FETAC level 5 course. Orientation for students doing FETAC level 5 is mandatory and takes six weeks, usually in the form of the Foundation Health Care Assistant Course OR where the student is a nurse waiting for Adaptation to begin.
